자신 안에서 용기, 힘 또는 기억 등을 끌어내는 것.

'summon up courage', 'summon up strength', 'summon up memories'처럼 추상적인 감정이나 기억에 주로 사용됨. 단순히 'summon' (누군가를 부르다)와는 다름.
