"step on the gas" in Bengali
Definition
গাড়ির গতি বাড়ানোর জন্য অ্যাক্সেলারেটর চাপা; অনানুষ্ঠানিকভাবে কোনো কাজ বা অবস্থায় দ্রুত হতে বা দ্রুত করতে উৎসাহিত করা।
Usage Notes (Bengali)
মুলত গাড়ি চালানোর প্রসঙ্গে ব্যবহৃত, তবে প্রায়ই রূপকভাবে দ্রুত কাজ বা তাড়াতাড়ি করতে বলা হয়। 'step on it' একই অর্থে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
