Definition

কারো চলে যাওয়ার পরও কোনও স্থানে থাকা বা অন্যদের তুলনায় পিছিয়ে পড়া বোঝায়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

সাধারণত স্কুল, সভা শেষে কেউ চাইলে 'stay behind' বলা হয়। 'Stay behind after class', 'stay behind for a talk' ইত্যাদি প্রসঙ্গে বেশি ব্যবহৃত হয়। কাউকে পিছিয়ে পড়া বা রেখে যাওয়া বোঝাতেও ব্যবহার হয়।
