Resistir o luchar contra alguien o algo, especialmente cuando crees que es incorrecto o injusto.

Se usa tanto en contextos formales como informales, sobre todo para situaciones sociales, políticas o personales: 'stand up against bullying', 'stand up against injustice.' Normalmente lleva un objeto directo (a qué te opones). No confundir con 'stand up for' ('defender').
