누군가에게(주로 아이에게) 선물이나 관심, 애정 등을 너무 많이 주어서 버릇없고 이기적으로 자라게 만들다.
Usage Notes (Korean)
아주 비격식적이며 주로 아이에게 사용. 'spoil someone rotten'은 극도로 오냐오냐한다는 뜻이며 주로 사랑이 넘치지만 과한 경우에 쓴다. 할머니, 할아버지, 부모에게 많이 사용된다.
