Definition

しみは、主に液体や色素などによる、不規則で目立つ大きな汚れや跡のことです。

主にくだけた表現で、「しみ」は偶然や汚れ感を表す時に使います。液体やペンキなどが服や床についてできる不規則な跡に使い、きれいな丸い点には「spot」を使います。
