Definition

紙を噛んで小さく丸め、ストローなどで吹き飛ばすいたずら道具。また、会話で自由にアイデアを出し合う意味でも使われる。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

実際の“紙つば”は学校などでのいたずらとして使う表現。アイデア出しの意味では「spitball ideas」のような口語表現で使われるが、フォーマルな場には不向き。
