입에서 나온 침을 누군가나 무언가에 뱉는 것. 문자 그대로의 행동이거나 강한 무시의 표시일 수 있다.

Usage Notes (Korean)

대부분 멸시나 모욕의 의미로 사용된다. 단순한 행위 그 이상. 대부분의 문화권에서 매우 무례하다. 'spit on the ground', 'spit on someone's face' 같은 사용이 많음. 가끔 비유적으로도 쓰인다. 일상적으로 사용하지 말 것.
