Definition

방어 위치에서 돌연히 이루어지는 공격이나 짧은 임무를 말합니다. 군사와 항공 분야에서 주로 사용됩니다.

주로 군사, 항공 분야의 공식 용어로 사용됩니다. '출격하다', '공중 출격' 등의 표현이 있습니다. 일반적인 대화에서는 거의 쓰이지 않습니다.

The pilots prepared for their first sortie of the day.
