何かが非常に速く高く上がること。実際に（鳥が空へ）や比喩的に（値段や感情などが急に上がる場合）使われます。

ニュースやビジネス、鳥の飛翔を表現するときによく使われます。'prices soared'（価格が急騰）、'eagles soared'（ワシが舞い上がった）、'temperatures soared'（気温が急上昇）など。大きく急に上がるニュアンスがあります。
