تُستعمل غالبًا كصفة لوصف التضاريس أو الأسطح مثل الأسطح، الطرق، أو الأرض المنحدرة. شائعة مع تعبيرات مثل 'sloping roof'. لا تُستخدم مع الأشياء المستوية تمامًا.
