Definition

何かを突然強く置いて、大きな音を立てること。怒りや苛立ち、強調を表すことが多い。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主にカジュアルな表現で、怒りや苛立ちを示す時に使う。ドアやカップ、携帯などを強く置く動作に使い、静かに置く場合には使わない。「slam」単体とは違うので注意。
