누군가의 자리에 잠시 대신 나서서 그 사람의 역할이나 자리를 맡는 것.

'sit in for'는 주로 회의, 수업, 업무, 음악 등에서 잠깐 동안 대신할 때 사용합니다. 'for' 뒤에 사람 이름이 옵니다.
