迅速且往往突然地离开某地，通常是为了避免尴尬的场面或不想承担的责任。有时也非正式地指“溜走”或“逃走”之意。

非常口语化，多见于澳大利亚和英国英语。常指为逃避问题或没有通知别人就匆匆离开。在美式英语中不常用。
