किसी चीज़ से टूटकर निकले छोटे और नुकीले टुकड़े, सामान्यतः काँच, मिट्टी के बर्तन या अन्य कठोर वस्तुएँ।

"Shards" प्रायः कठोर और भंगुर वस्तुओं (जैसे काँच, मिट्टी) के लिए प्रयोग होता है। आमतौर पर 'glass shards', 'pottery shards' जैसी अभिव्यक्तियाँ मिलती हैं। मुलायम या लचीली चीजों के लिए नहीं। अकसर नुकीलेपन के कारण खतरे का संकेत देता है।
