Comportarse o rendir mejor, a menudo después de una advertencia o crítica. También puede significar ponerse más saludable o en forma físicamente.

Principalmente informal; suele usarse como advertencia ('You need to shape up!'). Puede referirse a la actitud, el trabajo o la condición física. Se usa mucho en la frase 'shape up or ship out'.
