誰かに対して怒っていたり、不満そうな表情でじっと見つめること。苛立ちや拒否を表すときによく使います。

主にカジュアルな場面で使います。「scowl at someone」「scowl at the suggestion」の形でよく出現します。'frown'（困惑や集中）の意味とは異なり、'scowl'は必ず怒りや苛立ちを表します。
