Definition

重くて運びにくいものを苦労して持ち運ぶこと。また、長くて疲れる移動や作業を指すこともある。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に口語的・アメリカ英語で使われる外来語で、やや不満や疲労感が込められる。'schlepp around'や'what a schlepp!'のような表現で使われ、フォーマルな場面には不向き。
