데이다데치다

Definition

뜨거운 물이나 증기로 사람이나 물건을 데이게 하다. 요리에서 우유나 물을 끓기 직전까지 데우는 것도 포함한다.

주로 뜨거운 물이나 증기 등 액체로 화상 입을 때 사용하며, 마른 열로 데일 때는 ‘burn’을 사용. 요리에서는 우유나 물을 끓기 직전까지 데울 때 쓴다.
