여러 사람이 한정된 것을 먼저 차지하려고 매우 빠르게 움직이거나 행동하는 것. 주로 경쟁 상황에서 사용됨.

비격식적 표현. 한정된 상품, 기회 등에 대해 여러 사람이 동시에 몰릴 때 사용. 단순한 속도가 아니라 경쟁이 포함됨.

People rush for seats when the train arrives.
