Definition
Sair rapidamente de um lugar, muitas vezes para escapar de alguém ou algo, geralmente correndo. Também pode significar ausentar-se subitamente.

Expressão informal, comum em situações de fuga ou saída inesperada ('run off with someone' = fugir com alguém). Não se usa para água ('runoff').
