Definition

誰かや何かに向かって素早く走ること。たいてい攻撃したり、驚かせたり、意図を持って近づく場合に使われる。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「run at」は特定の人や物に向かって勢いよく走る場合に使われます。攻撃的な意味以外に、遊びの文脈でも使います。「run to（駆け寄る）」や「run into（偶然会う）」とは異なります。
