心地よい空想や夢想にふけり、現実には注意が向いていない状態。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
文語的で詩的なニュアンスが強く、日常会話ではあまり使われません。「daydream（白日夢）」の方が口語的。'lost in reverie'や'fall into a reverie'のような表現で使われます。
