Recuperándose de una enfermedad, lesión o situación difícil; mejorando o recuperando fuerzas poco a poco.
Usage Notes (Spanish)
Normalmente se usa para la recuperación física o mental. Se escucha mucho después de enfermedades, cirugías o eventos difíciles. Suele ir con 'from' ('recuperating from...'). Es más formal que 'mejorando'.
