何かが起こると予想して、それを前提に計画を立てること。または、それに頼ること。

主に状況や出来事に使われ、人にはあまり使わないのが特徴。イギリス英語でよく使われ、少しカジュアルな表現です。「reckon on support」「reckon on rain」などの形で使われます。
