朗読暗唱

Definition

詩や教科書などを暗記して人前で声に出して読むことや、文章を朗読すること。

学校や宗教など、公式な場面で使うことが多く、詩の朗読や暗唱によく使われます。「speech」とは違い、オリジナルではなく暗記したものを読む時に使います。

She gave a beautiful recitation of the poem.

彼女はその詩を美しく**朗読**した。

Students practiced their recitation every day.
