Definition

非常に激しく、破壊的に場所を通り抜けること。嵐や火事、病気などが急速に広がって被害を出すときによく使われます。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に嵐、火災、病気などの強い力に使われます。人にはほとんど使いません。強烈で劇的な印象があります。「rage」と単独で使うと「激怒」ですが、「rage through」は猛威をふるう移動の意味です。
