"Quoting" 常出現在正式、學術、新聞、商業等場合。可以引用文章、演講或價格。日常會說 "He is quoting Shakespeare." 報價時用 "quoting a price." 請勿與 "citing"（引用來源）或 "paraphrasing"（用自己話轉述）混淆。
