何かが空気などでふくらむこと、もしくは自信や誇りで態度が大きくなること。物理的にも比喩的にも使われます。

'ふくらむ' は体や物が膨らむ時、'得意になる'は誰かが誇らしげになる時に使います。カジュアルな表現で、公式文書には不向きです。
