Definition

道路の表面にできるくぼみや穴で、車や天候によってできることが多い。運転を不便にしたり、危険にすることがある。

主に道路の穴・くぼみを指し、車や道路修理の話でよく使われる。自然な地面の穴や歩道には使わない。

The car hit a pothole and shook.

車が**穴**に乗り上げて揺れた。
