Un bache es un agujero o hendidura en la superficie de una carretera, causado por el desgaste, el clima o el tráfico. Puede hacer que conducir sea incómodo o peligroso.

Se usa principalmente para hablar de carreteras y conducción. 'Caer en un bache', 'daño por baches'. No se refiere a agujeros en la acera ni a huecos naturales.
