Definition

씨앗이 들어 있는 길고 얇은 껍질(예: 콩꼬투리)을 의미합니다. 또한 작은 캡슐이나 구획/방, 소그룹을 가리키기도 합니다.

일반적으로 식물의 '꼬투리'를 의미하며, 요즘은 '커피 포드', '세제 포드'와 같은 캡슐 제품, 소규모 그룹 의미(learning pod)로도 자주 쓰입니다.
