Definition

'Pled' 'plead' का भूतकाल है। इसका प्रयोग आमतौर पर अदालत में दोषी या निर्दोष बताने के लिए या किसी चीज़ के लिए विनती करने के लिए होता है।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

'Pled' आमतौर पर अमेरिकी अंग्रेजी में प्रयोग होता है; ब्रिटिश अंग्रेजी में 'pleaded' प्रचलित है। अक्सर 'pled guilty', 'pled not guilty' जैसे कानूनी वाक्यों में आता है। सामान्य बोलचाल में कम ही उपयोग होता है।
