주로 장난이나 상황에 따르는 척할 때 쓰며, 'play'와는 달리 진짜로 참여하는 것이 아니라 겉으로만 맞춰 주는 의미가 있습니다. 'play along with a joke', 'just play along'처럼 자주 쓰입니다.
