Definition

किसी चीज़ से सहमत होने या उसमें भाग लेने का दिखावा करना, अक्सर सामाजिक कारणों या टकराव से बचने के लिए। इसका मतलब मज़ाक या खेल में शामिल होना भी हो सकता है।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

'Play along' अनौपचारिक है; जब आप किसी परिस्थिति में दिखावे के लिये साथ देते हैं। 'play along with a joke' (मज़ाक में साथ देना) जैसे वाक्य आम हैं। इसे 'play' (खेलना) से न मिलाएँ; 'play along' में केवल दिखावा होता है।
