Definition

ピクセルはデジタル画像や画面を構成する最小の単位で、他のピクセルと集まって全体の画像を作ります。

主にテクノロジーや写真の文脈で使います。「高ピクセル密度」や「ピクセル毎インチ（PPI）」、「ドット落ち（デッドピクセル）」などの表現があります。「pixel」と「pixels」両方よく使います。「pixelated（ピクセル化された）」とは別の意味です。
