En fútbol, "park the bus" significa poner a casi todo el equipo a defender cerca de la portería para evitar recibir goles, especialmente contra un rival más fuerte.

Es expresión informal y específica del fútbol. Suele usarse criticando estilos de juego muy defensivos. Se emplea: "El equipo decidió park the bus" o "Después del gol, park the bus". No se usa para otros deportes.
