陸や海岸付近で行われる、または存在すること。海から陸に向かって吹く風も指します。

エネルギーや石油・ガス業界でよく使われ、『onshore wind farm』は陸上風力発電所を指します。『offshore』と対比されます。気象での『onshore wind』は必ず海から陸へ吹く風です。少し専門的な語感です。
