여러 가지 일이나 이유를 구체적으로 말하고 싶지 않을 때 쓰며, 사소하거나 바쁜 일을 넓게 표현할 때 자주 사용된다.

비공식적 대화에서 자주 쓰이며, 구체적으로 설명하기 싫을 때, 또는 바쁜 상황 핑계로 적합하다. 'this and that'와 유사하게 소소한 일을 지칭할 때 쓴다.
