কারও উপস্থিতিতে বা বিশেষ পরিস্থিতিতে অত্যন্ত ভদ্র, বিনয়ী ও নিয়ম মেনে আচরণ করা।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

অভিভাবক বা শিক্ষকরা বিশেষ অনুষ্ঠান বা কারো সামনে বাড়তি ভালো আচরণের জন্য এই কথা বলেন। 'on your best behavior' মানে সাধারণ সভ্য আচরণের থেকেও অনেক বেশি চেষ্টা। চাকরি ইন্টারভিউ, অতিথি আসা, ইত্যাদি ক্ষেত্রেও ব্যবহার হয়।
