誰かが電話を使って話していることをカジュアルに表す言い方です。

アメリカ英語で使われるかなりカジュアルな表現です。電話だけの意味で、他の「ホーン」とは関係ありません。「get on the horn」は「電話をかける」という意味です。フォーマルな場面ではあまり使われません。

I can't talk now, I'm on the horn with my mom.

今は話せない、母と**電話中**なんだ。
