Definition

動物を食用のために処理する際に取り除かれる部分で、レバーや心臓、腎臓などの内臓を指します。

料理や精肉、畜産分野で使われるやや専門的な言葉です。日常会話では「レバー」など具体的な部位の名前が使われることが多いです。「awful」（ひどい）と混同しないように注意しましょう。
