관계나 일이 시작부터 어색하거나 문제가 생겨 좋지 않게 출발하는 것.

비공식적으로 관계, 직장, 프로젝트 등의 시작이 좋지 않을 때 사용함. 'get off on the right foot'은 정반대 의미. 실제 동작에 쓰지 않음.

We got off on the wrong foot, but now we are good friends.
