जब अचानक कोई बात आपके मन में आती है या कोई विचार अचानक सूझता है।
Usage Notes (Hindi)
हमेशा किसी व्यक्ति के साथ प्रयोग होता है—'occur to me' यानी 'मुझे सूझना' या 'मेरे ध्यान में आना'। इसे 'happen' (घटना) से न मिलाएँ।

It didn't occur to me to call her.
मुझे उसे फोन करने का **ध्यान नहीं आया**।
Did it occur to you that he might be right?
