Sentir-se tão surpreendido ou confuso que não sabe como reagir ou o que fazer a seguir.

Principalmente formal ou literário. Em inglês americano, pode ser (raramente) entendido como 'não incomodado', mas o uso padrão significa 'perplexo'. Costuma ser usado com 'look', 'seem' ou 'appear'.
