"no dice" in Korean

안 돼불가능해

Definition

부탁이나 시도를 거절하거나 불가능하다는 뜻을 아주 비격식적으로 표현할 때 사용한다.

아주 비공식적이고, 주로 미국 영어 분위기에 가까움. 'no way', '절대 안 돼'와 비슷하게 씀. 공식적인 자리에서는 사용하지 않음.

I asked for more money, but my boss said no dice.

나는 돈 좀 더 달라고 했는데, 사장님이 '**안 돼**' 하셨어.

We tried to open the door, but no dice.

문을 열려고 했지만, **안 돼**.

Can I have some of your fries? Sorry, no dice.
