Definition

巣は、鳥や一部の動物が卵を産み、子育てをするために作る場所です。比喩的に、安全で居心地のよい場所を指すこともあります。

主に鳥や動物に関する文脈で使われますが、比喩的に「居心地のよい場所」という意味もあります。'bird nests' や 'empty nests' などの表現に注意。'net'（網）とは意味が異なります。
