Definition

たかり屋は、他人から食べ物やお金、助けをもらおうとするばかりで、自分ではお返しや支払いをしない人です。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

カジュアルな場面や友達同士の冗談で使われます。'totally たかり屋'や'そんなたかり屋'のように言うことも。大きなことから小さなこと（お菓子や飲み物など）まで幅広く使います。'freeloader'ほど強い非難ではありません。
