誰かをからかったり、いたずらしたり、余計な手出しをすること。ふざけたり、困らせたりする時に使う表現。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「Don't mess with me」は警告や脅しに、「mess with something」は勝手にいじる・手を出す意味で使う。カジュアルな場面が多い。物理적な暴力は含まれない。
