Definition

메노라는 일곱 개 혹은 아홉 개의 가지가 있는 유대인 전통의 촛대로, 특히 하누카 때 사용됩니다.

‘메노라’는 고대 7지 메노라나, 한우카 때 쓰는 9지 촛대(하누키야)를 모두 가리킵니다. 하지만 일반적으로 한우카와 관련해 자주 사용됩니다.
